Inspired by the city of art and fashion, the NCM Essen is practical as well as fashionable and artful. Focusing on comfort and style, this eBike is designed with strong aluminium steel equipped with a suspension seat post for improved ergonomics. Featuring components from top established brands and a quality responsive frame, this eBike offers the smoothest experience for even the longest rides. It comes with all the features necessary for a lifestyle bike as well: a large cargo rack with 3-strap bungee for carrying panniers or strapping on any kind of bag; lights in the front and rear to illuminate you and the road; mudguards, a bell, and a kickstand. Removable lithium-ion battery with USB port: A high-quality DeHawk 36V, 13Ah battery provides the motor all the power it needs to reach the maximum 25km/h power-assisted speed and gives riders at least 40km of pedal support (up to 100km in Eco mode depending on road condition). An integrated USB port lets you charge your smart devices on the go.
Powerful patented Das-Kit X15 rear hub motor: This reliable 250W rear-drive unit is known for its power-endurance level and long-distance pedal assistance, able to maintain 25km/h for extended periods of time. There is no compromise to maneuverability with the compact motor centred in the rear hub.
Comfortable and smooth cycling experience: Large Schwalbe Big Ben tyres, a Suntour suspension fork, an adjustable handlebar, Selle Royal ergonomic grips and saddle with suspension post all serve to provide the most comfortable ride for even the longest distances. The highly popular Shimano Altus 7-speed rear derailleur guarantees a seamless transmission.
Information and control at your fingertips: Our simple and stylish Das-Kit LCD display gives you all the information you need about your current trip. Furthermore, it allows you to adjust the power output of the battery as well as the pedal-assist level of the motor (with 6 levels).

The Ride-More Accessories Package
Postage generally takes 2-5 days. However, deliveries to rural locations, WA, TAS or NT may take up to 10 days. All of our orders are processed the same day and dispatched the next day. The times indicated above are averages and in some cases orders may ship faster or slower then what’s indicated.
We ship all of our orders via Australia Post or private courier (for larger items). Tracking will be provided with each order. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking, after your order has been dispatched. Orders will be delivered between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday. Please do not provide us with a PO box or parcel locker address, as the courier may have trouble delivering.
If you’re looking to order for a birthday or event please order 2 weeks before you require your order to ensure that it arrives on time and without issues. If you still have a question then feel free to contact us.
Warranty and Servicing
What does the warranty include?
We provide a full 12 month warranty on all of our products. This warranty includes all manufacturers faults that are present or develop over the 12 month period. In the event of a warranty claim we will either repair or replace your item. Warranty is all inclusive of labour and parts cost, however, excludes any courier or transportation costs to and from our repair facility/store. Warranty is serviced locally in-store. Our warranty does not cover any repairs or replacements that are required as a result of user or accidental damage. It also doesn’t cover manufacturer faults that develop as a result of this damage.
Do you offer support after the warranty period expires? Yes. We stock a large number of replacement parts that can be order at any time. We also offer a repair service which will work on and fix your product any time. This includes all forms of damage or serviceable/consumable items. The cost of this service will be determined on a case by case basis, you can contact us for a quote any time.
Where is our workshop located? Our workshops are located in Pyrmont 2009 (Sydney) and Campbell 2612 (Canberra). With over 6 years of experience and a large supply of spare parts we can fix almost anything. You can either come visit us or we can arrange a courier to collect your vehicle Australia wide. Laws vary state by state and therefore may limit use to private locations only. Each local body is reviewing public electric scooter use, so we expect it to be regulated, but legal in all states within the short term.
